About us

Iva Znaor
Born on September 1, 1993, in Rijeka, Croatia. Iva graduated from the School of Applied Arts and the Academy of Applied Arts at the University of Rijeka. Her creative journey began behind the lens of fashion and lifestyle photography for a fashion portal, where she discovered the rhythm of storytelling through images. Her work has been recognized internationally, earning awards at photography exhibitions and film festivals. She has held two solo exhibitions in Rijeka, showcasing photographs from her travels across Africa — visual stories shaped by light, movement, and emotion. For the past eight years, Iva has been immersed in wedding photography, where she finds a unique blend of intimacy and aesthetics. Each wedding is a new canvas, every couple a new story waiting to be captured.
Pavle Kaplanec
Born on July 30, 1992, in Belgrade, Serbia. Pavle holds a degree in Photography from the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, where he also completed his master’s degree. His work spans a variety of visual disciplines – photography, video, and design – all driven by a constant search for new forms of expression. He has participated in both solo and group exhibitions, and works as a director of photography on music videos, short films, and feature films. His travel video Jordan has received more than 15 international film festival awards, a testament to his ability to blend narrative and atmosphere with a filmmaker’s eye. For the past five years, Pavle has been crafting wedding films, seeking not just to document but to evoke – to turn fleeting moments into timeless memories.

Impala Weddings
Their paths crossed in 2018, in the coastal town of Umag. Just one year later, they said their own “I do.” Since then, Iva and Pavle have worked together – not only as life partners, but as creative collaborators. To them, photographing and filming a wedding is an extraordinary privilege. Every celebration tells a different story – a collection of emotions, relationships, rituals, and fleeting glances. No two weddings are the same, and that beautiful unpredictability keeps their work alive, dynamic, and honest. Each wedding challenges them to grow — not just as visual artists, but as quiet observers of love in its most authentic form.
